Earlier in 2023 I had the pleasure of scoring my first drama series for the BBC.

Dog Days is a 6 part mini series currently on BBC iPlayer written by James Price and starring multi award winning Conor McCarron from Peter Mullan’s NEDS. Stream the 6 episodes now!

A 60 minute cut premiered at The Glasgow Film Festival in March 2023 and look out for this abridged version on BBC Scotland later in 2023.

Dog Days is a big-hearted drama saluting the power of redemption. Zoso (a brilliant Conor McCarron) is living rough on the streets of Dundee. He is determined to take charge of his future and maintain a loving relationship with a daughter who now lives with his ex and her new partner. Zoso’s busking skills reveal a stunning musical talent but the odds are not in his favour until music lecturer Grace (Lois Chimimba) hears him perform. The search for hope is told with gutsy humour, energy and soul.
